Two months prior to going to the seminar, I applied for a position with the Orange County Sheriff's Department, I had no idea what was on the test, or how to prepare myself for it. One day, while attending a class, I heard about the CJISC seminar, which was supposed to help me prepare for both the written exam and the oral panel interview. I signed up right away and thought that this must be too good to be true. I went to the September seminar and met with the top notch instructors there. There were instructors there from all areas of law enforcement and they were excellent. The instructors sat down with me and went over the written exam and the oral panel interview situations.
After the seminar, I felt ready and confident to face both written and oral portions of the hiring pocess. I was so glad that I had attended. I knew that I was prepared to face whatever was coming at me. Thanks CJISC! Without your help, I know that I would not have been prepared. It is because of the things that I learned from your instructors that I passed both the written and oral panel interview for the Orange County Sheriff's Department

Criminal Justice Institute of Southern California has been extremely beneficial to me. It has provided me an insight to the world of Criminal Justice and their hiring process. Because of CJISC I was able to pass both the written exam and the oral interview with a police agency. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is considering a career in CJ!

Attending the CJISC seminar helped me instantly improve on some of the areas that are needed to pass the hiring process for law enforcement. With the help of professionals who are involved in the field, I was able to acquire enough insight to focus on some of my weaknesses and improve my chances of getting hired. I found the section where they helped me develop an opening personal statement to be the most helpful to me. In less then an hour I had created a very powerful opening statement that would impact the interviewing panel and would show my desire to work in the field of law enforcement.
Through practice and critique, the opening statement became easier to write and present in front of people. I belief that for those that feel they need help or want to polish their skills, this program can be very beneficial for them and it will significantly improve their odds of getting that desired position.

After Attending one of the CJISC seminars it gave me a better understanding what it took and what needed to be done to help me be a better candidate. I found the lectures very informative and the speakers very approachable and eager to answer any questions. After the seminar it inspired me to try harder and use some of the techniques to improve my skills to increase my chance to get into this competitive field. I highly reccomend CJISC.
